Early in July I had the opportunity to shoot Mili & Ryan’s wedding with my friend and fellow wedding photographer Kristi Odom. It was a lot of fun! It was a hot day in July that started out with rain storms but gave way to a rain free blue skies day. Mili came prepared though, with her hot pink umbrella that matched perfectly to her bouquet and her bridesmaid’s dresses. So much fun! Mili and Ryan were great and so were all of their guests. We had a fantastic time!

Back in July I had the amazing opportunity to work with the wonderful Kristi Odom and the cute couple Melody and Brent! This was such a fun wedding. First of all, Melody was just stunning in her dress with the rhinestone belt and birdcage veil and second of all, Melody and Brent’s smiles were so vibrant and infectious it just made the entire day a complete joy! I love the blue dresses and the yellow sunflowers. I also love the signs they had made. “P.S. I love you” “I love you more”. And I also love the sparklers! Fun, fun, fun! Thanks Kristi, for inviting me to join you at this fabulous wedding!

Micah is a wonderful foster doggy with Homeward Trails Animal Rescue. I was contacted to do some photos of Micah to help him to find a new home. He is such a sweet dog! He is a pit bull terrier mix about 1 year old and was found and rescued from a parking lot in Arlington, VA. My little boy came with me to meet Micah and photograph him so I can say that Micah is great with kids. This was a wonderfully international wedding! Mo is from Pakistan but grew up in London where he met the fabulous Luiza, who’s parents are Polish and Algerian with Luiza being raised in the US. Much of the world was represented at their wedding. Mo & Luiza had both their ceremony and reception at the Intercontinental Harbor Court Baltimore. This is a beautiful hotel with wonderful staff, perfect location, and great views! When we were at the hotel for our walk through and the day of the wedding I was so impressed with how kind, courteous, and professional everyone who worked there was. Also, it is located right on the Baltimore Harbor. For the portraits, Mo, Luiza and I just walked over to the harbor! I had such a hard time choosing the photos for this blog. There are just too many that I love. Especially the photos from the reception. That was one crazy dance party!
I’d also like to add that I am posting this blog on Luiza’s birthday. Happy Birthday Luiza!!! And thanks to you and Mo for having me as a part of your wonderful wedding day.
