What is your approach to photographing a wedding day?
I love to capture the candid special moments that you will cherish forever. I let your wedding day unfold before my eyes, interfering as little as possible and capturing it with a unique and artistic approach.
What kind of equipment do you use?
I use Nikon D700 cameras and a variety of Nikon lenses. I have backups for all my equipment in case of malfunction.
Is this your full-time job?
Yes, I am a full-time photographer.
Do you retain copyright for the photos?
Yes I do, but each package includes a DVD of your images and our contract allows you to make prints and enlargements for personal use.
How many pictures can I expect from you?
I photograph a lot. It all depends on how many hours I am with you on your wedding day and if there is a second photographer. After editing out blinks, funny faces, and repetitive photos you can expect anywhere from 400-800 photos.
When will I get the photos?
Contractually, I allow myself 8 weeks to get your photos to you, but actually, I work a lot faster than that. I will get your photos to you in as little as 2 weeks but definitely no more than 8 weeks.
Do I need a second shooter?
A second photographer is an option that is included in some packages at no extra charge to you. Some people like to have a second pair of eyes, while others prefer the intimacy of only one photographer. It’s your preference.
What happens if you’re sick?
I have never missed a wedding due to illness. In the worst possible scenario, where I would be unable to photograph your wedding day, I have many friends in the area who are professional wedding photographers and would be willing to stand in for me as needed.
